News Story

Interesting story.

The Sun is driving huge numbers of people through the site.

Mostly since we started working on the site!!

However, this story does show the rubbishness of NMA.

They're talking about hits as a measurement of the size of the site. Hits have not been used to measure sites for years - they're a completely inaccurate way to look at traffic levels. They do use page impressions in the story, but the use of hits in the headline make the Sun look like cowboys.

Also, they don't give the number in context - should say the percentage of growth, or give the previous numbers. For all the reader knows, we could have increased by less than the internet increased in the year.

Useless.

Consumer vs. Producer Price Index

Consumer vs. Producer Price Index

Come on then economists.

The consumer price index has been increasing at a relatively constant rate over the last ten years. However, the producer price index has not been increasing at the same rate.

The question Swivel asks is where the profit is going...?

Swivel is currently my favourite site. I guess that it is going to become Daniel's favourite site once he's spent a bit of time exploring it...
